Everyone’s Statement Can Be Accepted or Rejected (Part 2) | Shaykh, Al-Allamah Rabee al-Madkhali حفظه الله said:
Everyone’s Statement Can Be Accepted or Rejected (1)
The virtuous Shaykh, Al-Allamah Rabee al-Madkhali حفظه الله said,
“Everyone’s statement can be accepted or rejected. It is not that every statement an individual makes is accepted or that every statement an individual makes is rejected! No! Al-Shafi’i, Ahmed and Malik, their statements can be accepted or rejected and likewise Al-Thawri and Al-Awzaaee. Their statements can be accepted or rejected because they are not infallible. Ibn Taymiyyah said, ‘Infallibility is for the prophets. As for the Siddiqun, the martyrs, the righteous and all the Imams, then they will certainly make mistakes.'”
